Oxford Police Department issued two tickets, investigated 10 wrecks and the following reports:
1 911 hang-up
5 alarms
1 begging
1 careless driving
2 civil matters
4 disturbing the peace complaints
2 fire department assists
1 larceny
1 motorist assist
1 public drunk
1 simple assault
6 suspicious activities
1 suspicious person
4 welfare checks

OPD officers made the following arrests:
1 DUI
1 fake ID
2 public drunks
1 driving on a suspended license

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department investigated three wrecks and the following reports:
5 alarms
2 animal complaints
1 petty theft
1 malicious mischief
1 service call
2 suspicious activities
1 welfare check
1 transport
1 follow-up
2 traffic complaints

Deputies made the following arrests:
1 burglary
1 driving while license suspended
1 MDOC hold

University Police Department made no arrests, investigated four wrecks and responded to two medical calls.

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
11:39 a.m. – Rooster’s – alarm company testing the system
5:40 p.m. – Darby’s (Old Dee’s Radiator) – car fire – the fire was out before we arrived
7:46 p.m. – Turner Center – using a smoke machine for a Halloween party set off smoke detector
12:05 a.m. – West Jackson / Fraternity Row – wreck; checked for injuries
5:24 a.m. – Haven House – someone accidentally bumped a fire alarm pull station breaking the cover
