Lafayette County School District

DISMISSAL NOTICE:
Wednesday, November 14, 2018
1:30 PM – Buses will line-up at the Elementary School

2:30 PM – Campus-wide dismissal. All students must be off campus by this time.

UPDATE: The bus to the CLC will not run today.

The Boys and Girls Club will be closed this afternoon. Schools are asking parents whose children attend the afterschool program to contact the school to say how they are going to pick up their children or if the child should return home on their regular bus.

As the weather deteriorates in Oxford and Lafayette County, schools and other organizations are starting to cancel events for later today.

The Oxford School District will be dismissing students about a half hour early today, with elementary students getting out at 1:30 p.m. and middle and high school students being released at 2:30 p.m. All afterschool activities have been canceled.

The Lafayette County School District has not released any information in regards to early dismissal; however, at noon, the district did announce that all afterschool activities – including after-school childcare and athletics – are canceled for today.

This is a developing story. Check with Hottytoddy.com for weather and closing updates.
