Ole Miss Basketball Travels to Indy for Matchup Against Butler

The Ole Miss men’s basketball team returns to the hardwood Friday night as they travel to Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana to take on the Butler Bulldogs. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. on FS2.
Ole Miss (1-0) is off to a strong start with Kermit Davis at the helm after a 90-64 victory over Western Kentucky last weekend.
Senior guard Terence Davis led the way on the floor against WMU with 17 points. He ranks 39th in program history with 1,028 career points.
The Rebels lead the SEC in three-point field goal percentage (45.5), steals per game (15.0), turnovers forced per game (24.0) and turnover margin (12.0).
Butler enters Friday night’s matchup with a 2-0 record. The Bulldogs began the season with a 90-68 win over Miami (OH) before cruising past Detroit Mercy 84-63 on Monday night. The matchup with the Rebels will wrap up Butler’s three-game homestand to start the season.
This is the first meeting between the Rebels and Bulldogs on the hardwood. Butler will come to Oxford in the 2019 season.
