Oxford Police Department issued 11 tickets, investigated eight wrecks and the following reports:

6 alarms
1 animal complaint
3 careless driving complaints
2 code enforcement violations
1 disturbing the peace
1 domestic disturbance
1 K-9 search
2 larcenies
1 motorist assist
1 other agency assist
2 suspicious activities
1 suspicious people
1 suspicious vehicle

OPD officers made the following arrests:
1 noise violation-vehicle
1 possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia
2 possession of drug paraphernalia
1 speeding and no insurance

Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department served one writ to take into custody, investigated two wrecks and the following reports:
1 simple assault
1 animal complaint
4 disturbances
1 petty theft
3 harassments
1 service call
1 suspicious activity
1 transport
2 follow-ups

Deputies made the following arrests:
1 writ to take into custody
1 DUI and leaving the scene of a wreck

University Police Department investigated two wrecks and the following reports:
1 fraud
1 computer crime
1 harassment
1 vandalism

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
1:03 p.m. – RedMed Urgent Clinic – burned food in the microwave
4:02 p.m. – Coulter Hall – power outage activated the fire alarm system
4:36 -p.m.- Coulter Hall – power coming back on activated the fire alarm system again
8:47 p.m. – The Links Bldg. 31 Apt. 12 – smoke detector malfunction
