The Oxford Police Department notified the Ole Miss faculty, staff and student body at approximately 10:54 a.m. Friday through ‘Rebalert’ of a robbery on Hathorn Road near the bus stop at Campus Creek.
At approximately 11:22 a.m, the OPD located the suspect on Tad Pad Road, according to the LiveSafe app.
According to a release by OPD, the suspect is described as an African-American male and is approximately 40 years of age wearing a dark gray or black tracksuit. No weapon was reported to be involved in the commission of this crime, according to OPD.
