Three From Corinth Charged With Oxford Home Invasion Robbery
Three people were arrested last week for allegedly breaking into a home and assaulting a man.
According to reports, on Dec. 3, officers with the Oxford Police Department were called to a residence for a report of a possible home invasion.
Officers met with the alleged victim who said three people entered his home on Olive Branch Way and assaulted him causing minor injuries.
On Dec. 8, Henry Weston, 31, Laura Weston, 40, and Dedria Beene, 27, all of Corinth, turned themselves into the Oxford Police Department.
They were taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where they were booked on bonds of $5,000 each.
Embezzlement Arrest
OPD arrested a Batesville woman on Dec. 8 for allegedly stealing from her place of employment.
The employee, identified as Andrei Casey, 38, of Batesville, was charged with embezzlement after a representative from the restaurant where she worked in Oxford signed an affidavit against her.
She was arrested and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where she was booked on a $2,500 bond.

Eye Nose just $5,000 bond for Home Invasion and Assault charges is mighty low. For $500 (through a bondsman) they can be back on the street. Lafayette County sure does set LOW bonds for criminals.
