The National Association of Basketball Coaches released its team of the week for each NCAA Division on Tuesday, and the Ole Miss Rebels claimed Division I.

Ole Miss had a solid performance on the hardwood last week by winning a pair of victories over Top-15 opponents No. 11 Auburn and in-state rival No. 14 Mississippi State. The Rebels found themselves in the Associated Press poll at No. 18 in the country – a ranking they haven’t seen since 2013.

Coach Kermit Davis’ squad went on a 10-game winning streak prior to falling to the LSU Tigers 83-69 on Tuesday.

Senior guard Terence Davis became the reigning SEC Player of the Week after his 19.5 ppg performance in the two wins.

Ole Miss returns to action on Saturday as they take on the Arkansas Razorbacks inside the Pavilion. Tipoff is slated for noon on the SEC Network.
