2 Charged With Vehicle Burglary at The Hub

The Oxford Police Department arrested to men Saturday for allegedly burglarizing several vehicles.

According to OPD, private security at The Hub, located on Anchorage Road, reported that they observed two males entering several vehicles to the OPD.

Officers arrived on scene and arrested Dawson George, 20, from Booneville and Ethan Oaks, 19, from Saltillo.

Later in the morning, victims began reporting items missing from their vehicles to OPD. A search of the suspects’ vehicle yielded a majority of the reported stolen items.

George and Oaks were charged with eight counts of auto burglary and taken before a Justice Court judge where they were both given $25,000 bonds.
