Officers made the following arrests:

1 DUI-second and careless driving
1 public drunk

Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department made one arrest for simple assault and investigated the following reports:
1 simple assault
4 alarms
1 animal complaint
1 disturbance
1 petty theft
3 service calls
1 information
1 reckless driving
1 court detail
1 abandoned vehicle
1 standby

Deputies made the following arrests:
1 DUI and leaving the scene of a wreck
1 possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle

University Police Department investigated one wreck and the following reports:
4 ambulance assists
3 intoxicated people

Officers made the following arrests:
1 public drunk and possession of a fake ID
1 public drunk

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
11:23 a.m. – South Oxford Center – parking garage smoke detector malfunction
3:19 p.m. Oxford Conference Center National Guard side – call canceled
3:25 p.m. – 100 South Lamar Court – a worker accidentally bumped a pull station fire alarm
4:39 p.m. – Highway 7 South – wreck with no injuries
8:15 p.m. – Marriott Townhouse Suites – someone stuck on an elevator
8:02 & 10:25 p.m. – South Residential College – smoke detector malfunction
