The No. 10 Ole Miss Rebels baseball team came up short Saturday in a late-game rally to fall to Wright State 9-5 in the second game of the season.

Wright State scratched the first run on an error. In the second, he managed to not allow a run, but the third inning the Raiders scratched for a four spot.
Bianco brought in Taylor Broadway then Max Cioffi in the fourth.
In the fifth, Ole Miss was able to get on the board on an RBI single by Cooper Johnson that scored Chase Cockrell then Ryan Olenek who delivered a two-run home run to cut into the score 8-3.
Junior Thomas Dillard hit a solo home run in the eighth that would be Ole Miss’ final score of the day.
These two teams will decide the series on Sunday first pitch is slated for noon.
