1 ambulance assist

2 careless drivers
2 civil matters
3 disturbing the peace complaints
1 larceny
1 recovered property
2 scams
2 suspicious people
1 welfare check

OPD officers made the following arrest:
1 DUI and driving while license suspended
2 for possession of drug paraphernalia
1 possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department investigated two wrecks and the following reports:
1 agency assist
1 alarm
1 civil matter
1 death
1 disturbance
2 follow-ups
1 grand larceny
1 juvenile complaint
1 scam
7 service calls
2 suspicious activities
2 suspicious persons
1 suspicious vehicle
5 transports
5 welfare concerns
1 missing person (found)

Deputies made the following arrests:
1 writ to take into custody
2 warrants

University Police Department investigated one reports of a suspicious person and made one arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
12:42 p.m. – Elsohly Lab – call canceled
3:47 p.m. – Oxford Library – EMS requested a patient lift
4:12 p.m. – Canterbury Crest No. 124 – cooking activated a smoke detector
4:32 a.m. – Winchester – call canceled
