Oxford Police Department issued 48 tickets, investigated one wreck and the following reports:

1 disturbing the peace complaint

1 larceny
1 lost property
1 malicious mischief
1 other agency assist
4 suspicious activities
2 suspicious vehicles
1 welfare check

OPD officers made the following arrest:
1 DUI, speeding, no driver’s license, no insurance and open container of alcohol
1 possession of a schedule 1 drug with intent to sell and expired tag

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department investigated one wreck and the following reports:
1 agency assist

1 animal complaint
1 residential burglary (CR 369)
2 civil matters
1 disturbance
1 fraud
1 follow up
1 harassment
1 information
2 road obstructions
2 service calls
1 suspicious person
4 transports
3 welfare concerns

University Police Department conducted 13 traffic stops that resulted in three moving violations.

Oxford Fire Department responded at 10:22 a.m. to 803 Royal Oaks after burned bacon activated a smoke detector.
