Ole Miss junior center Dominik Olejniczak made the announcement Monday he is transferring to another program. He still has one year of elligibility left.

Olenjniczak came to Oxford in 2015, played two seasons for the Rebels and transferred to Drake in 2016-17. He redshirted during his year at Drake and returned to Oxford the following season. This year he helped lead the Rebels to a first-round NCAA Tournament bid, the team’s first since the 2014-15 season.

Head Coach Kermit Davis told the media that he is going to allow Olenjniczak to enter the graduate transfer portal. He will graduate in May after earning his degree in General Studies: digital media, journalism and education.

“After meeting with Dom and discussing his goals, I support his decision to enter the graduate transfer portal,” Davis said. “Dom was instrumental in helping us get to the NCAA Tournament, and we wish him the best going forward.”

The Torun, Poland native averaged 18.3 minutes per game and hit at a 76.3 percent from the free-throw line. He pulled down 98 boards this past season.
