1 public drunk and fake ID

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made one arrest for failure to appear and investigated and the following reports:

1 juvenile complaint
1 reckless driving
1 road obstruction
1 suspicious activity
4 transports
1 vandalism
1 welfare concern
University Police Department investigated one wreck, made one arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia and improper equipment and investigated the following reports:
1 suspicious person
1 disturbance
1 intoxicated person
1 fight
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
4/2 – 7:58 a.m. & 12:38 p.m. – 2000 Lexington Point – it was a burglar alarm not fire alarm
4/2 – 12:53 p.m. – Holman Hall – assisted EMS carry a patient down some stairs
4/2 – 12:54 p.m. – 918 Molly Barr Road – chest pains – monitored until EMS arrive
4/2 – 1:09 p.m. – 75 Southpointe Commons Loop – resident had stained the porch with teak oil, left the rags piled up and they combusted, catching fire
4/2 – 3:49 p.m. – Chevron West Jackson – gas pump was leaking gas – employees already had the gas shut off and oil dry on the spill
4/2 – 8:42 p.m. – 704 Faulkner Woods – fire coming out the top of the chimney – the fire had burned itself out before FD arrived – advised resident to have chimney cleaned
4/2 – 10:33 p.m. – 1411 Haden Drive – subject having anxiety attack – monitored patient until EMS arrived
4/3 – 8:20 a.m. – 11 Road 4052 – possible stroke – EMS on scene
4/3 – 11:02 a.m. – BMH – call canceled
4/3 – 7:24 p.m. – 2000 Lexington Pointe – burglar alarm
4/3 – 9 p.m. – Nanotek No. 9 Industrial Park – mixing chemicals in a box created a small fire – fire contained to the box
4/3 – 9:53 p.m. – 910 Augusta Drive No. 103 – fire alarm system malfunction
4/4 – 1:43 a.m. – 405 Sisk Ave. – assisted EMS with a patient
