UM Alumnus Named Senior Vice President of Local Trustmark Bank
Ole Miss alumnus Matt McCraw was recently named senior vice president of Oxford’s Trustmark National Bank.
McCraw joined Trustmark in 2018 and has 20 years of banking and commercial lending experience. He holds a graduate degree from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in banking and finance, and managerial finance from the University of Mississippi. McCraw is an active member of the Mississippi Bankers Association and served as President of the 2013-2014 Mississippi Young Bankers.
“I am extremely excited to be back in Oxford and also back with Trustmark,” McCraw said about his promotion. “I have worked in Oxford before, so this position was definitely a great fit and opportunity for me.”
McCraw currently serves as commercial relationship manager and has an extensive background history of experience in banking and commercial lending.
“While my background is primarily in commercial lending, Trustmark is a full-service bank with a broad product offering that will allow us to service the financial needs of the community,” McCraw said. “I worked for Trustmark about 15 years ago at the headquarters in Jackson so I am thrilled to be back on board.”
McCraw says that he sees growth not only in his future but in the bank’s future as well.
“Although we are a well established bank with a rich history in Mississippi, we are fairly new in this market so I see great growth potential for us in Oxford,” McCraw said.
Trustmark Corporation is a diversified financial services company headquartered in Jackson, Mississippi, with over 200 locations across the country, according to its website. Trustmark provides banking, wealth management and insurance solutions.
