University Police Department investigated three wrecks and made one arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia and a fake ID.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
6:52 a.m. – Hwy 6 and West Jackson – smell of natural gas call – nothing found
8:10 a.m. – 215 Chandler – call canceled
5:11 p.m. – Residential Hall 1 – boiling crawfish activated a smoke detector
