A large tree fell in front of Lamar Hall Thursday morning that blocked the sidewalk directly in front of the building. More than 50 members of the Ole Miss Landscape Services began the process of clearing the debris to clear a path for students entering and exiting the building.
The tree fell due to erosion caused by heavy rains overnight and into the morning, a member of the landscape services crew reported.
