The Road to Omaha will be paved through Oxford as the Ole Miss Rebels will be the No. 12 seed in the NCAA Baseball Tournament.

Ole Miss (37-25) will welcome in into town for the weekend Illinois, Clemson and Jacksonville State.

Clemson and Illinois will step on the diamond at 3 p.m. on ESPNU followed by the Rebels taking on Jacksonville State at 7 p.m. on ESPN 3.

Illinois enters as the No. 2 seed with a 36-19 record and a 15-9 record in the Big Ten.

Clemson enters as the No. 3 seed with a 34-24 overall record and a 15-15 mark in ACC play.

Jacksonville State enters with a 37-21 overall record and the No. 4 seed in the regional.

The Oxford Regional will be matched up with the No. 5 regional with the Fayetteville Regional.

Ole Miss entered this past week on the fringe of the host conversation. The Rebels went to Hoover, Alabama, as the defending SEC Tournament Champion and nearly won back-to-back titles.

The No. 7 seed in the tournament, Ole Miss reeled off four wins, playing six games in six days. The Rebels claimed three wins over top-15 teams and went down to the final out before falling in walk-off fashion to Vanderbilt, the SEC’s No. 1 seed—and the NCAA Tournament’s No. 2 national seed.
