Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following reports:

Deputies made the following arrests:
1 contempt of court
1 harassment
1 bench warrant
University Police Department conducted 13 traffic stops and issued three citations.
Oxford Fire Department firefighters responded to the following calls:
8:09 a.m. – Redmed – call canceled
9:36 a.m. – Oxford Health & Rehab – a fire alarm pull station malfunction
1:57 p.m. – The Retreat – working on the alarm system caused a water flow activation
6:50 p.m. – First Presbyterian Church – call was a smoke detector activation – there was no alarm activated upon arrival
