Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated one wreck and the following reports:

1 juvenile complaint
1 noise complaint
1 reckless driving
2 service calls

1 trespassing
1 welfare concern
1 stranded motorist
12 papers served

Deputies made the following arrests:
1 receiving stolen property
1 suspended driver’s license

University Police Department conducted two vehicle stops and investigated the following reports:
1 larceny
1 suspicious person

Officers made the following arrests:
1 DUI-refusal and speeding
1 speeding, driving while license suspended, switched tag and no insurance

Oxford Fire Department firefighters responded to the following calls:
2:45 p.m. – 400 Country Club – called for a lift assist
3:38 p.m. – Oxford Health and Rehab – fire alarm pull stations malfunctioning
4 p.m. – Crave at 800 College Hill Road – smoke detector malfunction
5:37 p.m. – 109 Red Rose Lane – trouble breathing – monitored until EMS arrived
10:49 p.m. – Lester Hall – general fire alarm malfunction
