Oxford Police Arrest 2 Alleged Pimps at Local Motel
The Oxford Police Department arrested two men Monday for allegedly soliciting prostitution.
According to reports, OPD received complaints that two men where attempting to solicit prostitution at the University Inn off Frontage Road.
After an investigation, OPD investigators had probable cause to charge Cornillius Thomas, 31, of Oxford and Henry Fox, 56, of Oxford with soliciting prostitution of another individual.
OPD did not release any information in regards to the individual the two men were allegedly trying to put up for prostitution other than they are continuing their investigation in determining if they were willing or a victim in the case.
Thomas and Fox were taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where they were charged with promoting prostitution and booked on a $15,000 bond by a Justice Court Judge.
