Local Law Enforcement to Hold School Supply Drive

The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department and the Oxford Police Department are joining together to help provide local schools with necessary supplies.

From noon to 7 p.m., officers and deputies from both organizations will be outside in front of Walmart of West Jackson Avenue collecting school supplies — paper, pencils, pens, markers, folders, glue and more.

All supplies will go to local schools.
