Game Time Announced for Cal Golden Bears Matchup

The SEC office announced Monday Ole Miss will play the California Golden Bears at 11 a.m. on Sept. 21. The home game will be televised on ESPNU. 

California (2-0, 1-0 PAC 12) is heading into a matchup this Saturday in Berkeley as they welcome the University of North Texas. Last weekend, the Golden Bears defeated the Washington Huskies 20-19 on the road.

California has averaged 23.5 points per game thus far and only allowed their opponents on average 16.0 points per contest. The Golden Bears’ quarterback Chase Garbers has thrown for 349 yards and two touchdowns in the past two games.

Ole Miss (1-1, 1-0 SEC) picked up its first win and conference victory of the season as they defeated the Arkansas Razorbacks 31-17.

The Rebels step out of conference play on Saturday afternoon and welcome the Southern Louisiana Lions to the Vaught. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m. on SEC Network Alternate.
