The family of a man killed in a wreck Oct. 4 is asking for help to purchase a headstone for their loved on.
Jeremy Andrew Lovelace was traveling on Highway 7 when his car crossed the centerline and collided with two vehicles. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Family members have set up a GoFundMe site to help raise funds for a headstone/memorial for Lovelace.
“Jeremy’s first tattoo was of a cross and we intend to have that cross put on it and a place to put flowers,” said his sister Chey Moore.
The family has placed a fundraising goal of $1,000.
Those who knew Lovelace described him as a man who often put others before himself and strived to be a good role model for his nine nieces and nephews.
“He often put himself out to help others,” Moore said. “If you ever called him for a helping hand at anything, he always made time.”
