Ole Miss (5-2) came into the contest looking to build on the way they performed in the semi-finals against Penn State. The Rebels battled with OSU early in the contest to tie it up 11-11 at the 12:47 mark of the first half. The Cowboys then had a 14-3 run that opened the game up and Ole Miss could not recover.

Coach Kermit Davis’ squad was lead on the floor by Breein Tyree with seven points. His teammate Devontae Shuler added three points, seven boards and five assists to the stats line.

Ole Miss could not find the range from behind the arc in the contest as they went 1-for-20 for five percent. Oklahoma State made it difficult for the Rebels to get going on the floor, holding them to only 25.9 percent.

Oklahoma State (7-0) was led on the court by senior Cameron McGriff with 15 points.

The Rebels held the Cowboys to 29.6 percent from behind the arc in the game.

Ole Miss returns to the Pavilion on Tuesday night as they welcome the Butler Bulldogs. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. on the SEC Network.
