The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department arrested an Oxford man for allegedly molesting a child.
According to reports, Willie “Roy” Carter, 56, was arrested on Saturday and charged with touching a child for lustful purposes.
He was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he is being held on a $50,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing, according to investigators.
