The Oxford Police Department arrested a local man recently for allegedly sending text messages of a sexual nature to a minor.
On May 30, OPD received a report about inappropriate messages between a child and an adult.
The adult was identified as Paul Webb, 48, of Oxford.
Webb was arrested and charged with the Enticement of a Child to Produce Visual Depiction of Sexual Conduct.
Webb was given a $25,000 bond by a Lafayette County Justice Court judge.
