A Clinton man was arrested in Oxford for allegedly passing a fake check.
On Feb. 15, the Oxford Police Department took a walk-in report for a fraudulent check.
After investigation, Trebor Myers, 23, Clinton, was arrested and charged with False Pretense.
Myers was taken before a Lafayette County Justice Court judge for his initial bond hearing and issued a $10,000 bond.
