On Sept. 12, Oxford police officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of North Lamar Boulevard for a welfare concern.
After an investigation, Pamela Hicks, 54, of Oxford, was arrested and charged with child endangerment.
Hicks was taken before a Municipal Court judge for her initial bond hearing and issued a $25,000 bond.
