On Nov. 24, the Oxford Police Department responded to a business on the 900 block of North Lamar Boulevard to take a report about a fraudulent check.
After an investigation, Jakayla Flowers, 22, of Batesville, was charged with uttering forgery.
Flowers was taken before a Municipal Court judge for her initial bond hearing and issued a $10,000 bond.
