After going 2-0 in their first week of conference play, including a win over No. 10 Missouri, Ole Miss (13-2, 2-0 SEC) has earned some recognition, receiving votes in both the AP and coaches’ polls for the first time this season.

In the AP top 25, the Rebels are 29th, receiving 55 votes, and Marquette, who is ranked 25th received 177 votes. Here is how all the AP voters had Ole Miss ranked.

The Rebels received 14 votes in the coaches’ poll, good enough for 31st.

Ole Miss will face Vanderbilt on the road Tuesday night at 8 p.m. on ESPNU, and they will host Arkansas at 12:30 Saturday on the SEC Network in hopes of continuing their hot start in league play.
