Meet Stryker, a 14 year-old golden retriever who can be seen roaming the halls of the Mississippi State Veterans home in Oxford. He’s not your typical K-9. Since he was a pup, the lovable dog has served as a comfort companion –– constantly keeping a close eye on his best friends at the home. To the vets who live there, Stryker is a true friend and hero.
