Oxford police investigated four wrecks, issued 25 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:

Public Intoxication, Failure to Comply, Resisting Arrest & Possession of Schedule 4 Narcotics
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Seatbelt & Suspended Driver’s License
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Two accidents, two alarms, two animal complaints, disturbance, two harassment, two juvenile complaint, malicious mischief, two service calls, four welfare concerns, scam, transport, unauthorized use of vehicle, traffic complaint, three reckless driving, court detail, two road obstruction, civil matter.

Turning power on activated the alarm system at 219 Carol Lane.
Kitchen smoke detector malfunction at South Residential College.
Car fire at 417 South 18th Street.
Air handling unit detector malfunction at Five Below.
University Police: Loud noise, simple assault, service call, two accident property damage, two assist with traffic, vehicle stop.
