Ole Miss senior Will Golsan joins fellow teammate Ryan Rolison in the Colorado Rockies organization. Golsan was selected Wednesday in the 26th round by the Rockies.
The Columbus, Mississippi native served as a co-captain for the Rebels this season along with RHP Brady Feigl.
Golsan hit .304 at the dish with 75 hits, 4 home runs, 2 triples and 13 doubles for his senior season.
He finished his career at Ole Miss with a .295 average, 10 home runs and 127 RBIs.
Prior to stepping foot on the diamond in Swazye, Golsan won back-to-back 5A state baseball championships in 2013 and 2014 for the New Hope Trojans. As a junior he was named the 5A Player of the Year by the Mississippi High School Athletic Association (MHSAA).
