Ole Miss third baseman Tyler Keenan was named a 2018 Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball after a stellar season on the diamond.

The Clayton, North Carolina native was the only freshman in the Southeastern Conference to earn Player of the Week honors. He also brought home two SEC Freshman of the Week awards. He is the first Ole Miss freshman to win Player of the Week since Alex Presley in 2004.
Keenan finished the season with a .301 batting average in 54 games and 50 starts. He tallied 11 doubles and nine home runs, driving in 38 runs and scoring 35. His .520 slugging percentage was the third-best on the Rebel roster, and his .911 OPS was fourth on the team. Keenan was defensively decisive at the hot corner, limiting his errors to five for the season.
