Holly Springs Man Charged With Possession of Stolen Gun

The Oxford Police Department arrested a Holly Springs man Sunday after allegedly finding a stolen gun in the man’s car.
According to reports, at 12:27 a.m. Sunday, an officer made a traffic stop on a vehicle without headlights. During a search of the vehicle, the officer discovered a firearm under the seat of the driver, identified as Malique Nunnally, 18.
The firearm had previously been reported stolen from Oxford.
Nunnally was charged with possession of a stolen firearm, no driver’s license, no headlights and no vehicle insurance. He was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $2,500 bond.
