Oxford bars may be a few beers short this weekend after a Landshark beer truck overturned this morning on Highway 7, about a mile north of Industrial Park Drive.

The driver walked away without injuries, according to a Mississippi Highway Patrol trooper on scene.
According to an A&D beer distributor, the front left tire on the truck blew out, causing the driver to lose control of the truck; however, the driver was able to steer the trailer off the highway and onto a hill, avoiding a collision with other vehicles.
Traffic was backed up for about 30 minutes after the truck overturned at about 8 a.m. Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department deputies and Mississippi Highway Patrol troopers were on scene to keep traffic moving. Several towing companies were working on getting the truck off the hill.
