Como Man Arrested on 4th DUI Charge

The Oxford Police Department arrested a Como man recently for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol for the fourth time.

According to reports, at about 7:32 p.m. on June 30, OPD received a 911 call about an intoxicated man about to drive away from the Square.
Officers located the vehicle driving on South Lamar Boulevard and conducted a traffic stop after the driver, later identified as Bryan Martin, 54, allegedly committed a traffic infraction.
A DUI investigation was conducted. During the stop, officers learned that Martin had at least three prior DUI convictions. Martin was subsequently arrested and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on charges of DUI-fourth offense, careless driving and not having a driver’s license.
He was booked on a $10,500 bond by a Justice Court judge.
