An Oxford man was arrested last week after Oxford Police Department investigators identified him as the alleged suspect in an armed robbery.
According to reports, at 4 a.m. on July 19, OPD responded to the Archive apartment complex for a reported armed robbery.
Later that day, investigators arrested Patrick Whitt, 31, of Oxford and charged him with armed robbery.
He was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $20,000 bond. The case is part of an ongoing investigation.
