The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department arrested an Abbeville man Thursday for aggravated domestic violence.
According to reports, Jarelle Jordan, 39, was arrested on Tuesday and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was charged with aggravated domestic violence and booked on a $3,500 bond.
Domestic violence becomes a felony when the suspect is accused of either using a weapon or strangulation.
