This evening the Ole Miss Wesley Foundation is hosting a ‘Burgers and Blues’ cookout with special guest head football coach Matt Luke. The event gets underway at 7:30 p.m.

Each year the Wesley Foundation holds the cookout on their lawn to welcome students back and draw the community together. It is sponsored by the United Methodist Campus Ministry.

“Our organization asked Coach Luke to speak knowing that he is a man of faith and also a friend to the student body,” Campus Minister Rev. Eddie Willis said. “We are in hopes that not only will he encourage students, but the students in attendance can encourage he and his wife, Ashley in a prayer and through support.”

Ole Miss Students are welcome to join for free burgers, veggie-burgers, hotdogs, chips, and most of all, fellowship, Willis said.

The Wesley Foundation is located right across the street from Martin and Stockard Halls on West Jackson Ave.
