The Ole Miss soccer team bounced back from a loss in Minneapolis with a 3-0 win against Murray State at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium last night, Aug. 26.
Ole Miss (3-1) got off to a slow start in the game pulling ahead 1-0 in the 26-minute to Haleigh Stakpole off a pass by CeCe Kizer.
The Rebels continued to apply pressure on the Murray State defense but were forced to settle for a 1-0 halftime lead. In the second half, Ole Miss pushed the lead out to 2-0 on a goal by Channing Foster. The Rebels got a third in the 68th-minute thanks to some footwork from Kizer.
Ole Miss now embarks on a five-match road trip this week that begins against Troy and South Alabama.
