An Oxford man was arrested Saturday on charges of aggravated domestic violence and kidnapping.
According to reports, on Saturday officers with the Oxford Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance at The Links apartments.
The victim told police that Cody Oakswaltman, 24, of Oxford, held her against her will starting on Sept. 7 until she was able to leave on Sept. 8.
Oakswaltmn left the scene before officers arrived but he turned himself into OPD later that day.
He was charged with aggravated domestic violence and kidnapping and booked into the Lafayette County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond.
