The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal wreck this morning that occurred just north of Abbeville on Highway 7.
The wreck occurred at about 6:30 a.m. and involved several vehicles, although the number of people injured is still unknown.
Lafayette County Coroner Rocky Kennedy said one Hispanic man was killed at the scene; however, his name is not being released at this time until he is identified and next of kin are notified.
