The mail will be a little lighter come next week.
After almost five years of being in circulation, the Oxford Citizen semiweekly newspaper will be putting out its last publication on Sunday.
The paper, owned by the Daily Journal, is mailed to every household in Oxford on Thursdays and Sundays.
According to a post by general manager, Sarah Brooke Bishop on the Citizen’s website, the “parent company has had some changes in leadership recently and they feel like it would be best to go in a different direction in Oxford.”
