Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department made no arrests, investigated one wreck and the following reports:

University Police Department investigated one wreck and one disorderly conduct report.

9:23 a.m. – 214 Shelley Cove – smoke detector malfunction
1:08 p.m. – Endoscopy Center of N. MS – grinding concrete activated a smoke detector
5:47 p.m. – 800 Park Bldg. 3 – elevator smoke detector malfunction
9:30 p.m. – 1802 West Jackson Ave. No. 24 – resident fell through the attic floor and broke his leg – splinted and stood by for EMS
2:20 – p.m. – 600 Shadow Creek Apt. 201 – water leaking into a smoke detector
