A GoFundMe account was started to help raise funds for the family of Lance Shipley who died Saturday from a heart attack at the age of 34.

According to the Lafayette County coroner, Shipley went to the ER with a massive heart attack and a blood sugar reading of about 900.

On the GoFundMe page, authored by Shipley’s 13-year-old daughter Savannah, said Shipley also left behind his wife, Meagan Shipley, two sons, Hayden Staggs and Harrison Shipley and an unborn son who is due in early February.

“His wife Meagan is a stay-at-home mom who will now be left to raise three sons and a daughter without my dad,” Savannah wrote.

She described her father as a “unique” man, who enjoyed art, making woodburnings and playing Pokemon GO.

“He was a bit of a goofball and loved to make us laugh, always being cheesy,” Savannah wrote.

Shipley worked at Malco Theater and Premier Bowling in Oxford and at ACI Building Systems in Batesville.

Shipley will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, according to his family.
