Oxford Police Department issued 24 tickets, investigated 10 wrecks and the following reports:

1 ambulance assist
2 domestic disturbances
1 fire department assist
1 larceny
1 motorist assist
1 obstructing traffic
2 suspicious people
2 suspicious vehicles
1 welfare check

OPD officers made the following arrests:
1 DUI and expired tag
1 DUI, no headlights and possession of a fake ID
1 no driver’s license, no insurance and child restraint violation
1 possession of drug paraphernalia and no insurance
1 possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance and no headlights
1 public drunk, possession of a schedule 2 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department investigated two wrecks and the following reports:
1 alarm
1 animal complaint
3 disturbances
1 juvenile complaint
2 malicious mischiefs
3 service calls
3 suspicious activity/persons
1 scam
1 information
1 follow-up
1 fraud
1 court detail
1 civil matter

Deputies made the following arrests:
1 simple assault warrant
1 writ

University Police Department investigated two wrecks and the following reports:
1 stalking
1 suspicious person
1 ambulance needed

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
3:21 p.m. – Canterbury Crest – burned food in the microwave activated the smoke detector
5:05 p.m. – Highway 6 East and University Ave. – wreck with injuries
8:22 p.m. – The Links – prank caller saying there was a fire
