An Oxford man was arrested today on a charge of sexual assault.
According to the Oxford Police Department, officers took a call on April 6 in regards to a sexual assault of an adult.
After interviewing the alleged victim, investigators were able to identify the suspect as Guy Turnbow, 76, of Oxford.
A warrant was issued for his arrest and Turnbow was arrested earlier today by OPD officers. He was booked into the Lafayette County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond.
