1,000 Oxford Residents Received Free Sanitizer Wednesday
Mayor Robyn Tannehill, Oxford aldermen and other city employees handed out 1,000 bottles of hand sanitizer Wednesday morning, free, to local residents. The sanitizer was made by Cathead Distillery in Jackson. Oxford purchased the sanitizer for $10,480 to make it available for the public. Tannehill said MEMA will reimburse the city 75 percent of the cost.
